SR200, Rugged Fanless Computer with NVIDIA 4 Independent Displays

STACKRACK, an innovative industrial computing and embedded system solution provider has launched a new MIL-STD Fanless Rugged System –SR700. SR700 highlights on its extreme rugged design, high functionality, and specially installed MIL-STD M12 connectors. With full IP65 classification, it has complete resistance to dust and water. What's even more impressive is the fact that SR700 can withstand vibration up to 5 Grms and shock up to 50G. SR700 can operate effectively in harsh environments; it supports extended temperature operation from -40 to 75℃. 9V~36V DC input design can protect system from damages caused by sudden surge of voltage, thus further secure the reliability of its critical components and the system itself. 



SR700 is the perfect solution to military purposes, such as defense, marine navigation and aviation technology. As a fully integrated, tested and qualified system, it can withstand and survive in the harshest surroundings. Even in fields like mining and offshore drilling, SR700 can provide equally stunning performance. We also provide our customers with customization assistance. For example, all the M-12 connectors can be changed into rugged MIL-STD-D38999 type, and anti-rust protection is another customizable feature.

MIL-STD-810G Compliant

When it comes to true ruggedness, MIL-STD-810 standard is considered the utmost principle. Originally established by the US government to simulate how materials would hold up to harsh environments, It provides a series of testing procedures for resistance to rain, shock, vibration, dust, humidity, and extreme temperatures. SR700 managed to pass the tests concerning its resistance to extremely high & low temperature, humidity, shock, and vibration. Below are the testing methods that SR700 has proven to pass.

 

• [Method 501.5] - High Temperature

This test is to certify that SR700 can perform flawlessly to as high as 75℃.

• [Method 502.5] - Low Temperature

This test is to certify that SR700 can perform flawlessly to as low as -40℃.

• [Method 503.5] - Temperature Shock

This test is to ensure that SR700 can thrive even in extreme temperature range.(-40~85℃)

• [Method 514.6, Procedure I (Category 20&24)] - Vibration

This test is to ensure that SR700 can perform even when it encounters severe and long-term vibration. SR700 can withstand vibration up to 7.69g.

• [Method 516.6, Procedure I] - Mechanical Shock

Mechanical shock test is another pledge to SR700's reliable structure. It's conducted to ensure that equipment can withstand drops encountered during handling, transportation, and normal use. SR700 can withstand mechanical shock up to 75g.

 

Rugged Connectors (M12 & other MIL-STD variations)

Robust and reliable M12 connectors are implemented, which provide maximum stability and protection. Compact design meets rugged capability, M12 connectors can seal the connector areas securely, operation can continue uninterrupted even under the most severe condition such as contamination, moisture and vibration. What makes SR700 so unique is the fact that all its connectors can be customized to U.S. Military standard connectors (D38999 Series) from the famous connector manufacturer Amphenol.

• D38999 Series

MIL-DTL-38999 is a high-performance cylindrical connector family designed for cable-to-panel I/O applications in military, aerospace and other demanding hazardous situations. Class D38999 connectors are capable of operation within a temperature range -65 to 200℃. They are lightweight and can stand up to environmental challenges. Made with removable crimp or fixed hermetic solder contacts, these connectors provide high-vibration characteristics and are suitable for severe wind and moisture problem areas.

• VG96912

Derived from MIL-D38999 Series, VG96912 incorporates lightweight, scoop proof and high contact density features. The plug and receptacle bodies are manufactured from aluminum alloy and protected by cadmium or nickel plating.

 

Fully IP65 Classified – Dust and Waterproof Design

SR700 has complete resistance to dust and water, making it even more ruggedized and reliable. SR700 can stand against the intrusion of dust, accidental contact, and water. Not just commercial grade waterproof and dust-proof, it can reach Dust Tight level, which guarantees complete protection against ingress. Even the strong power of water projection won't post a threat to SR700, now this is true ruggedness embodied.

 

Processor Non-throttling, CPU Full Speed over Wide Range Temperature

The fan-less system SR700 is integrated with Intel Haswell i7-4700EQ processor for reliable and powerful operation in harsh environments. This all-in-one design rugged system guarantees CPU full speed operation over wide range temperature from -40 up to 60℃ without throttling.

 

Wide Voltage Power Input 9V~36V with Power Delay on/off

Wide voltage power input design (9V~36V) can protect system from damages caused by sudden surge of voltage, thus further secure the reliability of its critical components and the system itself. Power delay on/off design allows selectable boot-up & shutdown voltage for low power protection. SR700 provides 8-level power on/off delay time, status of ignition and low voltage can also be detected.

 

Customization Design

We offer flexibility to our customers to choose the appropriate design concept on their features and performance requirements. To begin with, we provide Conformal Coating Service; its purpose is to protect electronic circuits from harsh environments that may contain moisture or chemical contaminants. It also ensures protection against thermal and mechanical shock. We provide different levels of customization capability to help differentiate our customer’s innovations. For example, a powerful NVIDIA graphic card SK210 (GPU GT730M) with the ability to support up to four independent Display port can be equipped. To extend the flexibility and scalability, all sorts of features that are necessary for the application can be added.
